MACHINE LEARNING

My interest in Machine Learning spans the conceptual to the practical.

My experience includes conceiving of AI as an artist with an evolving visual practice, training GAN to create models for branded generative visuals, and working with IBM leads to depict Neural Networks.

GAN-GENERATED PORTRAITS
I collaborated with creative technologist Gene Han to train a generative model on artworks to create style transfers for Samsung. (These are resulting process shots).

NEURAL NETWORKS FOR IBM
Bringing a scientific background in addition to expertise in technical execution, I worked directly with CTO of IBM's Watson Rushir Puri, and VP of AI Science Alexander Gray to distill and integrate the narrative IBM's latest in Machine Learning into their Big Bets exhibition.

ONGOING RESEARCH
I'm fascinated by the relationship between AI as creator, and human as curator across music as well as representational and abstract visuals. Of particular interest are text to image translation and semantic image to photo translation (reference images shown below).
