For the launch event of the Panthere collection, Cartier commissioned a responsive environment inspired by the iconic watch design as the backdrop for a videobooth.

Created at Fake Love in collaboration with creative technologist Mary Franck

RESPONSIVE
ENVIRONMENT

Guests' movement controls every surface of the photo booth. Depth camera data was fed into a Touch Designer backend, producing a screen-based generative kaleidoscope of golden watch links and individually addressed LEDs which radiated on cascading golden mirrors. The more dynamic a user’s movement, the more the environment would sparkle and drip with reflection to create the perfect sharable video.
